Bahrain’s Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Elected to International Paralympic Committee Board

Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). The election took place during the IPC’s Extraordinary General Assembly on November 20, 2025, a virtual continuation of the Seoul 2025 General Conference.
Shaikh Mohammed secured one of seven elected seats on the 12-member board, prevailing in a competitive field of 27 global candidates. The board comprises the IPC President, two Vice-Presidents, and appointed members, in addition to the elected officials.
