Riffa 3x3 team exits World Masters stage

Riffa’s 3x3 basketball team bowed out of the World Masters tour in Deqing, China, following a 19-15 defeat in the semifinals against Serbia’s Liman, the tournament’s third-ranked team.
The Bahraini side put in a competitive performance against one of the world’s top teams. The score remained tight throughout most of the game, with Liman only pulling ahead decisively in the final moments.
Riffa had earned its spot in the semifinals after a comfortable 21-8 win over France’s Toulouse, ranked second in the tournament.
