Manasyan Claims Triple Silver at World Weightlifting

Bahraini lifters shine in Norway
Bahrain’s Ghor Manasyan added three silver medals to his name at the World Weightlifting Championship in Forde, Norway. Competing in the +110kg category, Manasyan lifted 205 kg in the snatch and 242 kg in the clean & jerk, for a total of 447 kg, finishing behind Armenia’s Varazdat Lalayan, who won gold with 461 kg.
Bahrain’s success didn’t stop there. Segura Gruesi took bronze in the women’s 69kg category with a 108 kg snatch and 134 kg clean & jerk, highlighting the Kingdom’s growing presence in international weightlifting.
