PCB Suspends Overseas League NOCs, Introduces New Performance-Based Policy
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended all previously issued No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) that allowed national players to take part in overseas cricket leagues.
In a notification issued on September 29, PCB Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmad Syed informed players and their agents that a new performance-based policy will govern future approvals.
“With the approval of the Chairman PCB, all No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) for participation in overseas leagues and tournaments are hereby put on hold until further notice,” the notice stated, as reported by ESPNcricinfo.
The move marks a significant shift in the board’s approach, with upcoming NOC approvals expected to be tied closely to players’ national team commitments and performance levels.
