Two Days, Two Wins
Bahrain’s under-20 football team continued their perfect run in Türkiye last night with a composed 2-0 win over Kartalsport Kulubu. It is their second friendly win in just as many days as they prepare for the Gulf Cup U-20 2025.
Same Name, New Net
It was another productive night for Abdulrahman Bassam, who found the net for the second straight match. He sealed the result following an early own goal by the Turkish hosts, further cementing his place as Bahrain’s early standout in camp.
Momentum in the Making
The friendly was the second of several planned during Bahrain’s ongoing training camp, which runs through the third week of August. The squad — led by head coach Ali Aamer — is building both chemistry and match fitness ahead of the regional showdown in Abha, Saudi Arabia later this month.
Group B Awaits
The Gulf Cup U-20 2025, organised by the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF), features eight nations split into two groups. Bahrain have been drawn into Group B alongside Oman, Iraq, and Egypt. Group A comprises hosts Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Yemen.
