Used textbooks campaign
Manama : “Used textbooks collection campaign” initiated by Index Bahrain ended on Friday with “book distribution event” with the support of Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam at their Hall. More than 1000 parents and students attended the event to collect books
Along with textbooks, free notebooks and stationery items were also distributed. The event also aimed at creating awareness among children and parents on the importance of environmental care, and the need to protect trees. There was symbolic tree creation on big canvas at the event.
