Bapco Upstream holds Board of Directors Meeting and General Assembly Meeting

Bapco Upstream, a subsidiary of Bapco Energies, held its Board of Directors meeting for the first quarter of 2024.

Faisal Mohamed Al Mahroos, Chairman of the Board of Directors, presided over the meeting at the Company’s headquarters located in Al-Rumamin, which was followed by the General Assembly of the Shareholder meeting.

At the outset of the meeting, the Chairman expressed sincere thanks and gratitude for the ongoing unremitting support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of Bapco Energies, which greatly contributes to achieving the aspired growth of the Kingdom and the Company.

During the meeting, the Board reviewed the Company’s performance throughout the first quarter, including exploration projects, improvement initiatives, and compliance with highest health, safety, and environmental standards.

Upon the conclusion of the meeting, the Board sincerely thanked the executive management and employees, praising their dedicated efforts and loyalty. “Bapco Upstream will remain committed to achieving the aspired success and growth, with the ultimate goal of fostering Bahrain’s national economy and contributing to the Kingdom’s aspired growth”, said Al Mahroos.
