BYBLOS at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bahrain Bay

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay has launched its first Lebanese restaurant, By blos, a new culinary experience with a pictures que beach front view by Oriental Specialty Chef Tony El Khoury.

The restaurant, nestled along the hotel’s white sand beach, is an excellent spot for sharing culinary memories with loved ones.

Born and raised in Zahle, Lebanon, Chef Tony has over a decade of experience in renowned restaurants.

The menu he crafted for Byblos is his modern take on the recipes of his hometown.

His family’s traditions inspired Chef Tony’s deep-rooted passion for food, and amid their Sunday family gatherings, Chef Tony found his calling.

Inspired by the Mediterranean Sea, Byblos is designed with soothing turquoise and white tones.

The décor effortlessly intertwines tradition with a modern twist, creating an atmosphere that is both captivating and inviting.

As guests enter the entrance, flickering torches cast a warm glow, beckoning them into a world of Lebanese delights.

The gentle sounds of waves caressing the shore provide a soothing back drop as guests indulge in their dining experience.

For those seeking a moment of serenity, the out door seating area offers a tranquil retreat, while a live DJ enhances the atmosphere with vibrant tunes during the weekends.

The menu at Byblos features delicate mezze platters such as Pumpkin Mutabbal, Spiced Hummus, Pesto Hummus and Beetroot Carpaccio Salad.

Chef Tony has a knack for putting a tasty twist on Mediterranean classics. The pesto hummus is light and refreshing with a hint of basil.

Reinvented dishes such as the Lamb Shank Ouzi, the Modern Manakish, Batata Harra and Salmon Harra are also available on the menu.

Do not miss the lamb chops from the mixed grill.

The lamb is succulent, juicy and well-seasoned. Warm your senses with a premium selection of Moroccan Tea, Arabic Coffee and various stimulating concoctions.

Executive Chef Joergen Sodemann explained how he had introduced the traditional Japanese art of Kushiyaki to Le Jardin, which he mastered during his time in Japan.

Kushiyaki is a generic term for skewered meat and vegetables that displays the harmony of locally sourced ingredients’ colours, textures, shapes, and flavours.

Their corn tempura is tasty and addictive, a unique addition to the menu. Grilled shrimp and steak on skewers and grilled scallops are delicious bites.

The restaurant’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond home-grown herbs, including Oregano, Mint, Rosemary, and Thyme.
