Construction, development top govt priorities: HRH PM

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa affirmed that construction, development and economic growth top  priorities of the government and is therefore keen to create best political, economic and social conditions for them to flourish. 

The move also ensures the success of efforts exerted to provide decent living standards for  citizens, said HRH the Premier opening the gulfBID annual expo for construction (gulfBID 2015), the Gulf Property Show 2015, and Gulf Interiors Exhibition 2015, at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre on Tuesday.

Highlighting government’s support for building a real partnership between the public and private sectors, Prince Khalifa said such partnership will be consolidated by legislation and laws which would strengthen mutual trust protecting the rights of all parties.

The Premier also affirmed that the Kingdom’s development drive is on the right track, and is progressing as planned, adding that development programmes have benefited many fields, including the real estate market.

Real estate sector has flourished in the Kingdom, and it has become a vital economic field capable of generating jobs for the national workforce, he added while reiterating government’s keenness to offer more facilities and incentives to encourage investors.

The real estate boom currently witnessed by the Kingdom, and the number of  mega investment projects implemented, reflect the investors’ high confidence in Bahrain’s investment atmosphere, which the Premier  described as “flexible and
open”.  

HRH Premier also stressed that the government will not hesitate to take any measures to remove obstacles impeding the contributions of real estate sector from enhancing nation’s prosperity and progress.
