Al Baraka Islamic Bank, one of the leading Islamic banks in Bahrain, has successfully concluded a webinar on trade finance, bringing together Al Baraka Group units across Jordan, Tunisia, and Algeria.

The webinar reflects Al Baraka Islamic Bank’s ongoing commitment to foster the exchange of banking expertise and strengthen cooperation among Al Baraka Group units. This collaboration supports the growth of their businesses and development of advanced trade finance solutions that serve various business sectors.

The event saw active participation from representatives of prominent Bahraini companies and institutions, with a total of 45 attendees, reflecting the local private sector’s interest in the diverse trade finance solutions offered by Al Baraka Islamic Bank. The enriching discussion offered insight into market requirements, thus strengthening joint efforts to develop banking and financing products and services that meet the growing needs of the corporate sector in the Kingdom.

The webinar covered a range of advanced topics, including mechanisms to facilitate cross-border trade, strategies to enhance operational efficiency in letters of credit and collections, and methods to mitigate risks in international trade. It also reviewed the best practices from Al Baraka Group units in the region. Specialised teams presented key opportunities for creating financing solutions aligned with the evolving needs of businesses in Bahrain and participating countries.
