A student from New Millennium School has launched a sports technology platform after two years of development, marking a rare entrepreneurial milestone for a secondary school pupil in Bahrain.
Sagar Mohan Asnani, a Grade 12 student, has officially unveiled Thrust — a digital platform that brings athletes, coaches, and sports facilities together in one unified app. The platform is available on the Google Play Store, with a promotional website live at www.thrustsports.com.
Principal Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma praised Sagar’s achievement as a demonstration of how young innovators can tackle real-world challenges through creativity and technology. He said the launch reflects the school’s broader mission of developing students into leaders and responsible global citizens, extending learning well beyond the classroom.
Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Mrs. Geetha Pillai also extended congratulations to Sagar, his mentors, and his family, describing the achievement as embodying the values of innovation and excellence the school champions.
Thrust allows users to discover training opportunities, connect with coaches, and book sports facilities with ease — positioning itself as a one-stop solution for sport in Bahrain.
