The Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Sign the Pledge of Loyalty and Allegiance

In a profound demonstration of national unity and unwavering loyalty, The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain hosted a formal ceremony; during which a Pledge of Loyalty and Allegiance to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and its people was signed.

The ceremony was held at the The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain and was attended by Mr. Yamil Santiago, Director of the International Hotels Establishment and a representative of the owners, General Manager Bernard de Villèle, members of the hotel's Guidance Team and the Ladies and Gentlemen from various departments. 

General Manager Bernard de Villèle in his remarks said "Since 1783, the House of Khalifa has guided the Kingdom of Bahrain with visionary leadership. As of 2026, for 243 years of history, Bahrain and its people have welcomed the world with open arms, drawing strength from a rich heritage to become a beacon of diversity, tolerance, hospitality, and cultural enrichment. Through the wise leadership, together with the spirit of its citizens and residents, Bahrain has successfully preserved its cherished traditions while embracing progress. Its world-class infrastructure, advanced healthcare and educational institutions, and commitment to safety and security have made the Kingdom one of the most inspiring places in the world to live, work, and thrive.”

While Mr. Yamil Santiago stated “Bahrain is truly a second home to all of us. It is a nation that has welcomed people from around the world with warmth, respect, and opportunity. We remain deeply committed to supporting its continued growth and prosperity, and we are grateful for the wise leadership that continues to guide the Kingdom toward lasting peace, progress, and unity."

The Ladies and Gentlemen also took the opportunity to share heartfelt stories, reflecting on how Bahrain has become their home and the meaningful connections they have built within their family and community.

The ceremony concluded with a collective affirmation of loyalty and gratitude, reflecting the deep appreciation of The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain's Ladies and Gentlemen for the Kingdom they proudly call home. It stands as a testament to the hotel's dedication to remaining an active partner in the Kingdom's development while upholding the values of peace, development, tolerance and community integration championed by His Majesty throughout his leadership.
