Ebdaa honours winners of “Celebrating Your Creativity” competition

Ebdaa Microfinance Company recently honoured the winners of its “Celebrating Your Creativity” competition, launched during Holy month of Ramadan as part of its efforts to support entrepreneurs and encourage the growth of emerging businesses within the community. Hassan Ghuloom secured first place, while Mohammed Al Hayki came second. 

The event also featured a discussion session led by Acting CEO Prof. Badr El Din Ibrahim, focusing on the winning projects and their potential for implementation, while also addressing the factors behind their success, the challenges facing entrepreneurs today and the scope for future collaboration between the company and the winners.

Prof. Badr El Din Ibrahim commented, “This initiative underscores Ebdaa’s commitment to supporting promising Bahraini talent and cultivating an environment that enables start-ups and small businesses to grow and develop. Ventures of this kind play an important role in advancing economic development by bringing forward innovative ideas and practical solutions that enrich the local market, strengthen competitiveness and open up opportunities for Bahraini youth.”

Ebdaa’s Acting CEO said the competition brought forward several promising ideas that merit continued support, adding that the company will continue to provide advisory and development support while facilitating access to appropriate financing solutions. This will help entrepreneurs address operational challenges and turn their ideas into sustainable businesses capable of growth and competing at both the local and regional levels.
