In a remarkable display of knowledge and teamwork, students from Bhavan’s Bahrain Indian School (BIS) have once again triumphed at the Bhavans Middle East Interschool Quiz Season 6, hosted at Bhavans Pearl Wisdom School, Dubai.

This victory marks the fifth consecutive win for BIS in this prestigious competition. In the prelims held at Bahrain Indian School for the Bahrain schools, thirteen teams from seven CBSE schools fiercely competed for a coveted spot in the finals. Furthermore, out of all schools from the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain six teams were selected for the Grand Finale.

Competing against six formidable teams in a thrilling Grand Finale, BIS students Lakshya Kulshreshth, Kushagra Sah, and Gunjan Pal showcased their exceptional intellect, resilience, and collaborative spirit.

Their impressive performance earned them the top position, along with a prize of USD 1,000. The quiz was expertly conducted by Dr. Nithish T. Jacob, Founder and Managing Partner of Q Collective Knowledge Solutions.

Dr. Jacob posed challenging questions that spanned a wide range of topics, including literature, science and technology, general knowledge, sports, entertainment, and current affairs, pushing the participants to demonstrate their breadth of knowledge and quick thinking.

The Directors of BIS Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma expressed their pride in the students’ achievement, emphasizing the importance of such platforms in fostering learning and intellectual growth.

They remarked, “This victory is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion for knowledge that our students exhibit. We are immensely proud of their accomplishments and the spirit of excellence they represent.” Principal Saji Jacob added, “Winning this competition for the fifth time is a remarkable achievement for our students.

It reflects their commitment to academic excellence and their ability to think critically under pressure. I congratulate Lakshya, Kushagra, and Gunjan Pal for their outstanding performance and thank Dr. Jacob for conducting such an engaging quiz.”
