Tamkeen begins grant distribution

Tamkeen will grant each applicant of the BD 40 million Business Continuity Support Programme between BD 1,050 and BD 12,000, the Fund’s Chairman said. Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Labour Fund Tamkeen, said they are currently evaluating the financial requirements of 17,000 applicants and will reopen application window in the event of a budget surplus.
Tamkeen has started disbursing the first instalment of the programme. Enterprises who had received the first instalment are requested to upload their monthly expenses and receipts, to receive the second and third instalments on time.
