IS destroys residence of Iraqi Envoy To Bahrain

Adding to its series of hideous acts of destruction, the Islamic State (IS) terrorist organization yesterday targeted the properties of the Iraqi Ambassador to Bahrain, it has emerged.
According to Al Hadath news agency, IS exploded the residence of the current Iraqi Ambassador to Bahrain Ahmed Al Dulaimi in the Iraqi Governorate of Al Anbar, along with the residences of other family members in the eastern parts of the governorate.
It was reported that IS fighters planted several Improvised Explosive Devices (IED)s in the buildings.
A source in the Iraqi Embassy in Manama has confirmed the incident, stating that the house of the Ambassador’s brother and a guest house owned by the family were also destroyed by the members of the terrorist organisation.
It was mentioned in Al Hadath’s report that the tribe of the Ambassador is involved in armed conflicts against IS, in cooperation with the Iraqi armed forces in Eastern Al Ramadi, the centre of the governorate.
It was also reported that the tribe was able to restrict entry of IS fighters from several areas. However, Al Dulaimi was not available to comment on the incident.
