‘Global Indian, a symbol of excellence’
The Embassy of India celebrated Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2019 by organising an event at its Seef premises yesterday.
The event was attended by the members of the Indian community in Bahrain. It started with a classical dance performance of Bharatnatyam and Mohiniattam and also included felicitation of winners of first round of second edition of Bharat ko Janiye Quiz 2018-19 which was conducted by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
During his address to the community members, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain Alok Kumar Sinha highlighted the various schemes launched by the Government of India to connect with Indian Diaspora and also thanked the Bahraini Leadership for ensuring the wellbeing of Indians in Bahrain.
