Robbery in the air, robbers in prison

Three Chinese nationals accused in connection with robberies committed onboard flights were sent to prison.
The first accused was found guilty of stealing $15,000 from an Egyptian passenger and was given one year behind bars, while the other two were handed down five years imprisonment each after being held guilty of robbing an Indian national aboard a plane to Istanbul.
The first accused was reportedly spotted tampering the Egyptian national’s luggage, which was stored in the overhead lockers.
Fellow passengers informed the incident to the victim, who immediately tipped the cabin crew. The crew reported the crime to police. The plane was heading to Cairo, but the robbery took place before the flight took off.
The other two were captured after the Indian national reported to police he was robbed when his flight from Dubai landed in Bahrain for as a temporary stopover before continuing to Istanbul.
After investigation, police suspected the Chinese accused of committing it. The duo was captured after police located their place of residence.
