Arab League to hold meeting tomorrow
Cairo : A key consultative meeting will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo, Egypt.
The session will bring together the departments in charge of political affairs and peacekeeping operations, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Institute for Training and Research and the EU External Action Service.
The crucial meeting is part of the Arab League’s efforts to build institutions to support member countries, deal with conflicts in the region and promote quick response to crises.
The two-day meeting will discuss the expertise and know-how of regional and international organizations regarding response to crises and the deployment of field missions.
