Manama : The ENT Department at RBH Medical Centre offers treatments and solutions for all ear, nose and throat issues with medications and also with surgery where deemed necessary.
The Centre has now come up with an offer of 50 per cent discount on Consultations with Dr. Avneesh Kumar, Sr. Specialist – ENT and Dr. Akram Khairy, Sr. Consultant – ENT.
Variety of treatments are offered for the ear problems such as Office based Microscope-aided removal of wax, fungus and foreign bodies from the ear.
Surgical treatment for glue ears, perforated ear drums and middle ear infections with cholesteatoma (Infection of ear bones).
Deafness, dizziness (vertigo) and ringing in the ears (tinnitus) are also managed and resolved.
Nose conditions such as allergies, nasal polyps, deviated nasal septum, deformed nose, fracture of nasal bones, sinus infections and smell disorders are routinely managed both by medications and surgically with latest surgical tools such as shavers and Coblation.
Balloon sinuplasty (no cut technique) procedures are routinely carried out to treat select patients suffering from chronic sinus infections.
Solutions for all ailments and problems related to the throat are also provided at the Department.
Coblation assisted Adenoid and tonsil removal and in addition Laser treatment for snoring are routinely done.
