Bahrain visitors to Turkey rise
Manama : The number of Bahrain visitors to Turkey is steadily increasing, Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hatun Demirer, said pointing to the statistics.
According to data, 41,505 Bahrainis visited Turkey in 2016 compared to 32,476 in 2015, while the number of Turkish citizens who visited Bahrain in 2015 was 27,137 compared to 34,292 in 2016, the ambassador said, adding that she is looking forward to seeing higher numbers.
She said the Bahraini-Turkish relations are steadily progressing in various fields, chiefly tourism.
She noted the Turkish tourism promotions were launched by Turkish Airlines, Gulf Air and Pegasus Airlines, and that the tourist season is just around the corner to enjoy.
