Bahrain condemns terrorist attack in Canada
Manama : Bahrain has condemned the terrorist shooting targeting a mosque in the Canadian city of Québecin which killed and injured a number of people.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincerest condolences to the families of the victims and wishes speedy recovery to all those injured by this heinous terrorist attack that disregards the teachings of all religions," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, reiterating the importance of respecting and protecting houses of worship.
"The Ministry affirms the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with Canada and its support of all measures it adopts to ensure its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents.
The Ministry, furthermore, renews the Kingdom of Bahrain’s rejection of the use of violence and terrorism in all forms and calls on the international community to join efforts and cooperate to eradicate terrorism and all its underlying causes."
