Kingdom to host world skydiving championship
Manama : Bahrain will host the third FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championship in 2018, it was announced.
The global sporting event which will be held at the Gravity Indoor Skydiving, will see the participation of 350 contenders from 20 countries in the world.
“By hosting the event, Bahrain will become the first Arab country to host the world championship. The achievement reflects the trust of the world federation in the ability of Bahrain to organise high-profile international tournaments,” Minister of Sports Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder said while praising the efforts of the leadership in boosting the sporting arena of Bahrain.
