GCC Summit resolutions hailed
Manama : Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh praised the outcome of the 37th GCC Summit, which convened in Manama, and the GCC leaders' success in further boosting the GCC march and achieving people's aspirations for more progress and economic , security and defence integration.
He stressed that all recommendations and initiatives stemmed from a wise vision based on handling the exceptional regional circumstances and bolstering joint action.
The Shura Council Chairman lauded the royal address which asserted Bahrain's keenness to brave challenges in the region and the Middle East, pointing out that the royal speech reflected the leadership's vision to promote economic and security cooperation and relations with brotherly and friendly countries.
The Shura Council Chairman emphasized the importance of the participation of British Prime Minister Theresa May as a guest of honour in the summit, pointing out that this participation would usher in a new chapter of strategic relations between the GCC countries and the UK.
