Burhama road paving project awarded

Roads projects & Maintenance Director at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Sayyed Bader Alawi announced the Burhama Dirt Roads Paving Project (Block 351) has been awarded at the cost of BD518,445. Work is expected to commence by the end of this month.
According to Alawi, the project is part of the Ministry’s programme to improve infrastructure in the Kingdom and create an integrated roads network throughout Bahrain; in coordination with Municipal Councils and the Capital General Secretariat.
The project is expected to serve 62 residential units and improve traffic flow in the area.
The project comprises of paving a total of 7km of roads, implementing a storm water drainage network and ground channels and painting ground marks to ensure safety.
