Repeat offender held for Illegal gathering
Manama : A suspect was arrested in connection with an illegal gathering incident in a neighbourhood in Al-Deraz yesterday. He has been identified as a repeat offender, who had taken part in illegal gatherings on different occasions.
According to Northern Governorate Deputy Prosecutor Abdullah Al Thawadi, the Public Prosecution had received two reports from Budaiya Police Station that several individuals had gathered illegally near Al-Deraz.
“The suspect was questioned in the presence of his attorney. He was remanded in custody for 15 days pending further investigations after he was charged with illegal gathering in breach of the provisions of the law,” he added.
