Strong winds forecast today
Manama : The Meteorological Directorate at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry forecast a partly cloudy weather at first, but hot with rising sand in places during the day and slight dust haze later.
Northwesterly winds range from 07 to 12 knots at first, increasing 12 to 17 knots and reaching 20 to 25 knots at times during the day.
The department warned of strong winds, and urged caution.
Maximum temperature is 45 degrees Celsius and minimum is 33 degrees Celsius, while maximum relative humidity is 70% and minimum is 25%.
Sea waves rise from 1 foot to 3 feet inshore, and 3 to 6 feet offshore.
