BDF to Conduct ‘Bahrain Shield’ Joint Exercise with GCC Armed Forces
The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) will conduct the joint military exercise “Bahrain Shield” from July 28 to 30, bringing together the armed forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
The exercise is designed to strengthen military cooperation and coordination among GCC forces while providing an opportunity to exchange expertise and evaluate the effectiveness of joint operational systems.
The three-day exercise will also focus on enhancing the participating forces’ combat readiness and developing their capabilities in planning and carrying out joint operations.
Through the exercise, the participating armed forces will work to strengthen coordination and improve the integration of their operational approaches, supporting a more unified response to shared regional challenges.
The BDF’s participation in and hosting of joint military exercises reflects Bahrain’s continued commitment to strengthening defence cooperation among GCC member states.
The exercise will also provide an opportunity for participating forces to exchange military experience, develop operational skills and reinforce their ability to work together during joint missions.
