Vandals burn sports club
Vandals burnt a gymnasium hall at Nuwaidrat Club yesterday. “The Civil Defence extinguished a fire in Nuwaidrat club and initial investigation indicates foul play,” a statement from the Interior Ministry said on the arson attack.
During his visit to the site, Youth and Sports Minister Hisham Al Jowder condemned the “vandalism attack on the institution which caused severe damage to the facilities of the establishment”.
The minister inspected the building minutes after the attack was reported.
He mentioned that developing Nuwaidrat Club cost BD364,00 and consisted of all the required facilities for the youth to invest their talents and skills.
