Bahrain-Qatar Relations Reinforced During HRH Prince Salman’s Visit

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, met today with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, during a visit to Doha.

During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman highlighted the longstanding and strong relations between Bahrain and Qatar, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HH Sheikh Tamim. The Crown Prince conveyed HM the King’s greetings to HH the Amir, along with best wishes for Qatar’s continued progress and prosperity.

In response, HH Sheikh Tamim extended his greetings to HM the King and expressed his wishes for Bahrain’s growth and success. Both leaders also exchanged warm wishes for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, praying for peace across the Arab and Islamic nations.

HRH Prince Salman emphasized the shared commitment to further advancing the Bahrain-Qatar partnership, focusing on creating opportunities that benefit both countries and realizing common aspirations. The discussions also covered ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors and areas of mutual interest.

The meeting concluded with a lunch banquet hosted by HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in honour of HRH Prince Salman and the accompanying delegation.
