Bahrain Rings in 2026 with Biggest Drone Show Ever!

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has announced a spectacular program to mark the finale of the Bahrain Holidays Season 2025. The celebrations will feature dazzling fireworks and the kingdom’s largest drone show, starting at midnight on New Year’s Eve, across eight strategic locations in Manama and other key tourist areas.

The event will take place at the following sites: The Avenues Mall, Seef District, Bahrain Harbour, Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, Bahrain Marina, Bahrain Bay Beach, Bahrain World Trade Center, and the area between Sheikh Hamad and Sheikh Isa Bin Salman bridges. This wide distribution allows the public to enjoy the shows from multiple locations with panoramic views across the kingdom.

BTEA CEO Sara Ahmed Buhajji said that New Year’s Eve celebrations are a yearly highlight of the Bahrain Holidays Season, and the program is continuously enhanced to meet tourism goals and visitor expectations.

She explained that the expansion to more locations and the launch of the largest drone show ever reflects the authority’s commitment to boosting the tourism impact of major events, utilizing Bahrain’s advanced infrastructure, and strengthening the kingdom’s position as a leading regional destination for tourism and entertainment.

This year, two new locations—Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay and Bahrain World Trade Center—will join the celebrations for the first time. In addition, the Avenues Mall area has increased its display points from three in previous years to nine, highlighting the ambition to offer a world-class festive experience.

The drone show will feature 2,500 drones, including 1,100 “fire drones” reaching up to 400 meters, while fireworks will reach heights of 250–300 meters. The 10-minute aerial display will light up the sky in a breathtaking visual spectacle, complemented by advanced 3D light shows on the facade of Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, adding an innovative touch to the celebrations.

The event marks the conclusion of the fourth edition of the Bahrain Holidays Season, which over the past months offered a wide range of cultural, entertainment, and artistic events, attracting diverse audiences and reinforcing Bahrain’s reputation as a top regional tourism destination.

With large crowds expected, BTEA urged the public to plan ahead, arrive early, follow traffic and safety guidelines, prefer public transportation, and monitor official channels for updates to ensure a smooth and safe experience.
