Southern Governorate Honors Employees for Administrative Excellence and 2025 Achievements

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, presided over the annual employee recognition ceremony to celebrate the outstanding administrative achievements and strategic milestones recorded throughout 2025. The event, attended by Deputy Governor Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat and various staff members, served as a tribute to the collective efforts that have elevated the governorate’s performance indices and service delivery standards over the past year.

During the ceremony, His Highness affirmed that the governorate’s progress is a direct reflection of the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the continuous support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He specifically praised the spirit of teamwork among the staff, noting that their dedication to performing tasks with excellence has been the primary driver behind the successful implementation of various developmental projects and programs.

His Highness further highlighted that these achievements align with the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to enhance community partnership and maintain constant communication with the public. Ms. Maryam Issa Al-Mannai, Director of Human Resources and Finance, noted that the governorate’s focus on human capital has resulted in a 92% completion rate for specialized training workshops, equipping staff with the modern skills and innovative technologies necessary to serve the region effectively.

The ceremony also featured a speech by Mr. Ahmed Al-Nasser, Head of Strategic Planning and Project Management, who emphasized the vital role of strategic planning in achieving administrative excellence. Following the addresses, His Highness presented awards to several distinguished employees for their pioneering contributions. Notable honors were bestowed upon Dr. Munira Ibrahim Al-Subaie for creativity and innovation, Mr. Eid Saad Rabia for his commitment to professional training, and Mr. Jassim Khalid Al-Maqahwi and Ms. Anoud Mohammed Al-Subaie for their leadership in administrative initiatives.

The honored employees expressed their deep gratitude to Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa for his ongoing guidance and for fostering a motivating work environment.
