Indian School Alumna Sweeps Academic Honors with Dual Gold Medals

Ameya Das, an alumna of the Indian School Bahrain, has achieved a significant academic milestone by securing the top rank and two gold medals in her BA (Hons) in Media and Communication at the Nitte Institute of Communication.
The graduate was recognized for her exceptional academic merit during the 15th Convocation held in Mangalore. She was honored with the Nitte Gold Medal for her first-rank standing and the prestigious Heerur Padmanabha Shetty Memorial Endowment Gold Medal. The awards were presented by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M.S. Moodithaya.
Ameya, who completed her schooling in Bahrain in 2021, is the daughter of Haridas C.V., an employee at Al Maysan Trading Company, and Sheena Haridas, who works at STC. The family, originally from Kannur, India, celebrated her transition from student leader to professional. Ameya has already begun her career in the media industry, currently serving as a Digital and Content Strategist in Bengaluru.
