Bahrain-Serbia Economic Cooperation Strengthened During Official Visit

As part of his official visit to the Republic of Serbia, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, attended a key meeting with Bahraini and Serbian business leaders. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Samir Abdullah Nas, President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and included Mr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Sa’atsi, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Serbia residing in the Russian Federation, along with prominent business figures and senior corporate officials from both nations.

During the meeting, Mr. Samir Abdullah Nas highlighted the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in promoting economic openness and attracting investment, along with the government’s strong support under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasized that Bahrain’s strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and investment-friendly legislation have established the Kingdom as a leading investment destination and a regional and international commercial and industrial hub.

Mr. Nas further noted that Bahrain’s key economic sectors serve as a foundation for sustainable development and open broad opportunities for building strategic partnerships with countries worldwide, contributing to income diversification and strengthening the national economy.

He reaffirmed that Bahrain, supported by its wise leadership and flexible investment environment, will remain a gateway to regional markets and a strategic center for joint investments and projects. He also expressed confidence in the strong potential for growth and prosperity in Bahrain-Serbia bilateral relations.

The meeting focused on enhancing trade and economic cooperation between the two nations and expanding investment partnerships across multiple sectors. Discussions highlighted Bahrain’s experience and competitive advantage in vital sectors, including banking and finance, aluminum production, real estate, and investment, underscoring the Kingdom’s appeal as a comprehensive business hub and a destination for international investors.

Extensive talks were also held between the Bahraini delegation and senior Serbian business leaders to explore avenues for trade exchange across various sectors, marking a significant step in strengthening economic ties and diversifying opportunities between the two friendly countries.
