His Majesty King Hamad Leads Friday Prayers

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, led the blessed Friday prayers today at Safriya Palace Mosque. His Majesty was accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses, the sons of the King, members of the royal family, and a number of senior officials.

The prayers coincided with the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) birthday.

During the service, His Majesty and the attendees listened to the Friday sermon delivered by Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowment Council. Sheikh Al Hajri highlighted the noble life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on this auspicious occasion and offered prayers for the protection, guidance, and well-being of His Majesty the King. He also prayed for the continued prosperity, security, and stability of the Kingdom and its people under the King’s wise leadership.

In his sermon, Sheikh Al Hajri emphasized the importance of national unity, solidarity, and social cohesion, asking God to maintain the Kingdom as a land of safety, peace, and honor.

On this occasion, His Majesty extended his greetings to the nation, reflecting on the Prophet’s message of mercy, brotherhood, and harmony, and urging the rejection of division and conflict while promoting ethical values, tolerance, and peace.

His Majesty also expressed gratitude for the Kingdom’s blessings, foremost among them security and stability, which are the pillars of development, progress, and national resilience. He praised the steadfast unity and societal cohesion of the Bahraini people, noting that these are the result of the nation’s loyalty, awareness, and commitment to preserving this invaluable blessing.
