Southern Municipality Cracks Down on Shops Blocking Public Roads

The Southern Municipality has launched inspections to identify shops violating the Public Roads Occupancy Law.
During the campaign, inspectors found several commercial outlets placing goods, signs, and displays outside their designated areas, obstructing sidewalks and causing inconvenience to pedestrians and drivers.
Officials stressed that such practices not only disrupt public movement but also pose safety risks. The municipality confirmed that violators will face fines and be required to remove the obstructions immediately.
The Southern Municipality urged business owners to comply with regulations and work together to keep public roads safe, accessible, and welcoming for all.
