The 35th edition of the Autumn Exhibition concluded this year with remarkable success, marked by a significant increase in both visitor numbers and international participation. The exhibition, which ran for 10 days at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre, saw a total of 206,467 visitors, reflecting an impressive 62.68% growth compared to 2023. The event featured over 600 exhibitors from 20 countries, enriching the diversity of products and services on offer.
Sarah Ahmed Buheji, CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), highlighted the importance of the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre in facilitating the exhibition’s success. She noted that its expansive space, advanced facilities, and ability to accommodate larger numbers of exhibitors and visitors created an ideal environment for growth. This year’s edition attracted considerable attention from citizens, residents, and visitors, particularly from GCC countries, reinforcing the exhibition’s status as a key commercial and entertainment event in the region.
Bujaji also emphasized that the exhibition’s success reflects Bahrain's strategic role in organizing large-scale events, enhancing its position as a major destination for conferences and exhibitions on the global tourism map. This achievement is in line with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, which encourages collaboration between the public and private sectors.
“We greatly appreciate the vital role played by Informa Markets in the success of this year’s exhibition, evidenced by the unprecedented increase in visitor numbers. This reflects the importance of the exhibition as a primary platform for supporting the retail sector and boosting the tourism industry. We also extend our thanks to all exhibitors, organizers, and supporting entities for their substantial efforts in making this significant event a success,” said Bujaji.
In turn, Mohammed Ibrahim, Managing Director of Informa Markets Bahrain, expressed pride in the outstanding success of this year’s Autumn Exhibition. "With over 200,000 visitors attending, this is a remarkable achievement, especially as we celebrate the 35th anniversary of this distinguished event," he said.
Ibrahim further explained, "The large turnout this year reflects the growing interest and attention towards this unique platform that brings together cultures, businesses, and communities. At Informa Markets, we are proud to offer a distinguished experience to exhibitors and visitors, and we look forward to maintaining this momentum in the years ahead."
