Bahrain Entrepreneurship Award: Deadline on Dec 31

The Organising Committee of The Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship announced that the registration and nomination period is underway to participate in the award’s second edition, to be held under the patronage of Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Premier and Chairman of Economic Development Board HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Project manager of the Awards event Faisal Sultan said, “We are expecting more nominations from companies until the deadline on December 31. We extend our invitation to submit the nominations in this initiative, which aims to provide valuable incentives and prizes, highlight entrepreneurial success across all industries, and underline their vital contribution to economic development.”

 The Award will accept nominations in six categories:  Microenterprise of the Year, Start-up of the Year, SME of the Year, Sustainable Business Award, Enterprise of the Year with International Footprint and Female Entrepreneur of the Year. 

A seventh category, the Lifetime Achievement Award, will be granted to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exemplary track records in business.

 The Award will provide a financial package in support of entrepreneurial ventures with provisions for growth programmes and business mentoring by strategic partners including the Economic Development Board, Bahrain Development Bank and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with its knowledge advisors led by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Tourism, E&Y Bahrain and UNIDO AICEI.

Enterprises need to apply directly by visiting the ‘Apply Now’ link, and can be enrol for a nomination through the Nomination Form available at the website. 

Once nominated, the nominee will receive an e-Invite, inviting them to submit an application for the award category. 

However, it is not necessary for enterprises or entrepreneurs to be nominated to apply for an award.
