ManamaThe High Criminal Court has sentenced a man to life along with BD5000 fine for peddling heroin to his friend who died because of overdose. The deceased reportedly visited the defendant’s apartment, where the latter sold him the heroin. He was in the company of the accused man’s brother, and it is alleged that the defendant had suddenly lost his consciousness after consuming the drugs.

They called another man to come and take them to the SMC, according to court files. The brother and the third man were also tried in connection with the case.
