Bhavans Bahrain Indian School celebrated Labour Day, emphasizing the dignity of work and the contributions made by workers in our society. The school organized a series of engaging activities that brought students together to express their appreciation for the efforts of all workers.
The celebrations commenced with an initiative by the kindergarteners, who crafted beautiful thank-you cards for their nannies. A special assembly led by Grade 7 Mercury featured a thought-provoking speech on the significance of Labour Day, a captivating video presentation on the life of Abraham Lincoln, and a dance performance that celebrated the dignity of labor.
In the primary grades, teachers presented a short video on the importance of Labour Day.
For the middle school students, a slogan-making competition was held.
Meanwhile, senior students were engaged in a group discussion on the topic, “Is all work equal in dignity?”
The celebration was overseen by our esteemed Directors, Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma, along with our Principal, Saji Jacob, who expressed their pride in the students’ efforts to honour the spirit of Labour Day
