Dar Kulaib through to semis of HRH the Crown Prince’s Cup volleyball

Holders Dar Kulaib powered into the semi-finals of this year’s His Royal Highness the Crown Prince’s Cup volleyball tournament.
The recently crowned 2023/2024 Isa bin Rashid Bahrain Volleyball League champions stayed on course for a potential title double—for the second successive season—after defeating Al Shabab 3-1 (25- 15, 25-16, 20-25, 25-22) in their quarter-final clash.
Dar Kulaib claimed the victory despite resting some of their key players, including Bahrain national team star Mohammed Yaqoob, Brazilian professional Caio Oliveira, and Ayman Isa.
They now move on to face off with Muharraq in the semi-finals, while Al Ahli will take on Al Najma.
Muharraq booked their place with a straight-sets win against Nabih Saleh and Ahli did the same against Bani Jamra, while Najma won in four sets against Al Nasser.
Dar Kulaib won last year’s competition after defeating Ahli in four sets in a rocking final.
