Ghaleb Al Alawi crowns winners in HH Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Dressage Championship

Under the patronage of HH Shaikha Noora bint Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Captain of Al Fursan team, HH Shaikh Noora bint Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Dressage Championship took place amid wide participation at the Military Federation’s arena in Al Raffah.

The event featured a strong competition to win top places and qualify for the finals which will take place in March 2023.

Ghaleb Al Alawi, Secretary of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) crowned the winners of the top places.

He expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikha Noora bint Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for her continued support and backing to the dressage sport as well as Her Highness’ keenness to extend a helping hand to all the participants, explaining that the Championship is moving steadily towards further development and prosperity.

The championship included various categories. In the intro junior category, Tegan Harrison triumphed on the horse Nabijon after scoring %65.87, while Can Topbas on Oreo and Grace Zimmer on Casino shared the second place with %65.22 and Albane Lecat finished third with %65.00. The latter rode Solo in the competition.

In the intro senior section, Carlijn Leeflang emerged as the victor on Jairo after earning %70.

Faisal Mousa was second on Osborne, picking %69.78, and Hussain Albanai was third on Oviedo after securing the result of %69.13.

Furthermore, Marine Roger won the preliminary junior section after hitting the %68.79 mark.

Titouan Roger came second with %67.41. The first-place winner and the runner-up rode the same horse in this contest, namely Fly.

In third place was Muneera Ahmed Alabbasi on Gallada Ps.

She scored %64.83. Lastly, Fadel Abbas prevailed in the amateur category on Panadero, scoring %72.50, while Reza Al Afoo was the victor in the elementary class on Mano Kinsky, earning %72.88.
