Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is all set for an exciting and action-packed weekend of grassroots motorsport when it hosts the sixth and seventh rounds – backto-back – of the 2025/2026 Bahrain Rotax MAX Challenge (BRMC), the Kingdom’s premier karting championship.

The very best local karting talents will be going wheelto-wheel in their very own Rotax-powered machinery at Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC) in Sakhir.

Round six is scheduled for tomorrow followed by the seventh meeting on Saturday.

Competitors will be battling it out along BIKC’s 1.414-kilometre CIK-FIA track across five high-octane categories, including Micro MAX, Mini MAX, Junior MAX, Senior MAX, and DD2 MAX.

All are welcome to attend. Entrance to BIKC is free of charge.

A stacked field of some of Bahrain’s leading karters are set to line up on the grid at BIKC.

In round six, set to battle in the Micro MAX class are Enzo Younes, Rashid Almahroos, Sami Ramiz Albandak, and Ahmed Almudahka.

The Mini MAX will see a field of Faisal Alnajjar, Leo Saruhan, Rayyan Najjar, Hassan Baqer, Rhys Daulat, Ehan Anjam, and Saish Chinchrekar.

The Junior MAX class will be spearheaded by last season’s Mini MAX champion Shaikh Ahmed bin Saqer Al Khalifa, who will be going up against Leopold Juch, Jude Andrews, Bader Faisal, Luca Saruhan, Ryan Suckling, Sacha Rollett, and Liam Landy.

The Senior MAX once again features the largest grid, with 18 competitors in round six, to be led by defending champion Tye Mejia. He will be racing Khaled Najjar, Luca Houghton, Mohammed Hilal, Mohammed Alhasan, Farhan Bin Shafeel, Yousif Alaali, Filipa Dorres, Musaad Albassam, Rashid Hilal, Demir Abali, Samy Landy, Karim Rizkallah, Vedant Menon, Ahmad Jawed, Griffin Mecklenburg, Nicola Mateo Frigg, and Samvel Hambardzumyan.

The DD2 MAX category will see Abdulqader Qasem, Rakan Alfayez, and Mohammed Almahroos take to the track.

Meanwhile, in round seven, the same fields will be suiting up in the Micro MAX and Senior MAX classes. In the Mini MAX, Hasan is not entered and Bader is not set to race in the Junior MAX.

The DD2 MAX, on the other hand, will see the additions of Mohammed Sajjad and last year’s title winner Abdulla Sajjad.

The BRMC features a total of eight rounds in its 2025/2026 calendar. Following this weekend’s double header, the championship finale will take place on 18 April at BIKC.
