Bahrain’s Royal Endurance Team Completes Pre-Race Checks in Pattaya

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Commander of the Royal Endurance Team, attended the veterinary inspection for the Asian Equestrian Championship in Pattaya, Thailand.
The inspection was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, along with His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, and several other members of the Royal Family.
Shaikh Nasser is set to lead the Royal Endurance Team in the 120km race, riding Everest La Maggiore, the same horse with which he won the World Championship in France last year.
On this occasion, Shaikh Nasser said the Asian Equestrian Championship is an important milestone for the Royal Team in its regional and international participation. He noted that the team has spent the past months preparing both horses and riders to the highest technical standards.
He added that the team aims to achieve strong results that highlight Bahrain’s presence in endurance racing and continue its record of international success.
Shaikh Nasser also led the team’s final training session, focused on technical readiness, improving rider–horse coordination, and ensuring full preparation ahead of the race.
The Royal Endurance Team’s lineup for the 120km race includes Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, Mohammed Al Hashmi, and Saud Mubarak Sabt.
