Team ACERS Win Indian Club Badminton Championship

Team ACERS were crowned champions of the second edition of The Indian Club Members Team Championship Badminton Tournament, which concluded on November 13 at the Public Security Officers.
The tournament, which ran for nearly a week after kicking off on November 8, was exclusively for members of The Indian Club Badminton Section and attracted over 80 players, including more than 10 ladies, competing across the Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories.
The final was a nail-biting affair, thrilling badminton enthusiasts who watched from the sidelines. Team ACERS, captained by Togi Mathew, secured the overall victory with a close 3-2 scoreline against the runners-up, Team IC WOLFS, led by Captain N.S. Jain.
Individual winners and runners-up were honored with trophies, and both teams received an ever-rolling trophy. The prize distribution ceremony was attended by The Indian Club President Joseph Joy, General Secretary Anil Kumar R., Badminton Secretary Binu Pappachen, Tournament Director Arunachalam, alongside sponsors Nahaz Ommer (Value Line Trading) and Satheesh Mohan (NAPCO National).
