BRAVE Combat Federation(BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts organization, has officially released the weigh-in results for BRAVE CF: GEORGIA VS. THE WORLD.
This landmark event is set to happen this Friday, October 3, at the Tbilisi New Sports Palace. In partnership with Georgian Fighting Championship (GFC), BRAVE CF: GEORGIA VS. THE WORLD will deliver nine must-see matches to celebrate the fifth edition of BRAVE International Combat Week.
Headlining the stacked card, No. 1-ranked lightweight Rauli Tutarauli will carry the pride and hopes of his nation as he battles seasoned Dutch striker Pieter “The Archangel” Buist for the BRAVE CF Interim Lightweight World Championship. Both warriors hit the scales successfully, locking in their five-round duel for gold in front of an electric Georgian crowd.
The co-main event features another homegrown hero, Lasha Abramishvili, who continues his meteoric rise in the bantamweight ranks. He will test himself against dangerous Tajik contender Khurshed “Good Boy” Nazarov, the division’s No. 3-ranked athlete. With BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion Borislav Nikolic looming on the horizon, this bout has massive title implications.
Further amplifying the anticipation, Pakistan’s Ismail “The Volcano” Khan, the nation’s first-ever IMMAF World Medalist, faces off with Azerbaijan’s Elmir Jafarov in a symbolic clash representing the seamless pathway from IMMAF’s amateur proving grounds to BRAVE CF’s global stage.
At the weigh-ins, three athletes missed their respective limits, but their bouts will continue under revised terms. Gheorghe Gritko failed to make the middleweight division’s threshold and will now meet Mukhrani Narsavidze in a catchweight bout at 85.1 kilograms. Meanwhile, Reymond Jowett came in heavy for his featherweight assignment against Luka Giorgadze; their contest moves forward at a catchweight of 66.8 kilograms. Lastly, Nikolay Atanasov did not make the flyweight limit and will face Adigozel Guliyev at a catchweight of 57.5 kilograms.
Despite these hurdles, all nine encounters are officially sanctioned and locked in, ensuring fans in attendance and viewers worldwide will witness a night of world-class combat sports action.
BRAVE CF: GEORGIA VS. THE WORLD marks another milestone in BRAVE CF’s mission to bring global MMA to new territories, shining the spotlight on local talent while showcasing international stars. On October 3, the New Sports Palace in Tbilisi will roar with passion as Georgia welcomes the world.
