Bahrain Special Olympics equestrian team heads to Al Ain for regional event

Bahrain’s Special Olympics equestrian team departed yesterday for Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, to compete in the Regional Special Olympics Equestrian Competition and attend a regional training course for equestrian coaches, running from August 24 to 28.
The team includes athletes Nayla Al-Atham, Ibrahim Al-Ali, and first-time participant Hamad Ismail, under the guidance of coaches Basel Al-Jabal and Abrar Fakher. The delegation is led by national director Wafiqa Jamal, with sports director Redha Sabt.
The event also features leadership programs aimed at preparing athletes to become future assistant coaches and strengthening their role in sports leadership within the Special Olympics movement.
