Muharraq sealed the 2024-2025 Nasser bin Hamad Premier League title with a ruthless 6-1 win over Manama on Wednesday at Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium in Arad, sparking huge celebrations among fans chanting “The League Belongs to the Reds.” The win, which came in the 18th round, saw Muharraq claim the championship with four rounds to spare, taking their points tally to 47.

Manama took the lead in the first half through Ahmed bin Faisal, but Muharraq turned the game around after the break, scoring six goals. Husain Abdulkarim and Juninho each got one, while Elliot Simoes and Soufian Mahrouq both struck twice to secure the title in style.

It’s Muharraq’s first league title in six seasons, since the 2017-2018 campaign—the 61st edition of the competition, then known as the NBB League. This marks their 34th league title in club history and the first under the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League name.
