Minister Mirza receives Norwegian delegation
Manama : Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation Jacobsen Elektro, a Norwegian company specializing in renewable energy. The minister was briefed on the activities and programmes of the 100-year old company, and their desire to open joint cooperation in existing and future projects in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The minister gave the visitors a presentation on the plans and projects of the government and praised the company’s efforts aimed at activating sustainable and environmentally friendly energy use. He said the government pays great attention to encouraging clean energy. The company’s strategic partner, Hadi Al-Alawi was present at the meeting.
The visitors thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality.Acting Director of the Sustainable Energy Unit Alexander Al Samahiji also attended the meeting.
