AMH holds 26th AMH Island Classic Gala Dinner

The American Mission Hospital held their Annual Gala dinner at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa on Sunday the 16th of November to honor the sponsors for their kind support to the Island Classic event this year.

The prestigious Gala Dinner is part of the AMH’s Island Classic charity golf tournament held under the Patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

AMH Corporate CEO Dr. George Cheriyan expressed his deep gratitude to His Majesty for granting AMH the honor of hosting the tournament for 26 years at His Private golf course. He also extended appreciation to the event’s dedicated sponsors for their unwavering commitment and support.

Dr. George emphasized that the Island Classic is not just a golf tournament, but a meaningful initiative that reflects AMH’s mission of service. He highlighted that the event raises support for those in need, contributing directly to building a brighter and healthier future for the community of Bahrain. He noted that through the collective efforts of sponsors, partners, and participants, AMH continues to advance its charitable programs and expand access to compassionate healthcare. Dr. George also took the opportunity to highlight the several key milestones achieved by AMH since the opening of the King Hamad American Mission Hospital in A’ali.

During the evening, golfers of the winning teams were presented with their trophies and gifts and sponsors were honored with mementoes to thank them for their kind sponsorship. Several dignitaries and high profile businessmen and corporate executives were in attendance at the event. Ms. Julia Tovey, AMH Group CEO commented, “It is with pleasure that we welcome our esteemed guests today. We are here today at the Diplomat Radisson Blu to recognize the golfers and sponsors who play an important role in making this event possible.
